Day 1--Toronto, Missisauga, Toronto

Well, today was supposed to be the first day of our epic journey. But, as things go, late last night, Devin found that the back tire/brake was dragging. So we decided to see if the brake was heating up after riding, so got all our gear on and headed out.

It is a beautiful day in Toronto, without a cloud in the sky and it was awesome to be out and getting away from this big city. Well, that feeling only lasted an hour or so. When we stopped 45 minutes out, the back disc brake was hot. Luckily, other bikers were out for a wonderful Sunday ride, so gave us advice. No one could really help, so we called CAA (Devin's awesome idea to get coverage). We didn't want to drive on it, and the tools Devin needed for fixing it were not on the bike.

We arrived in style back at Devin's, with the bike in the back of the Moto-Limo, and us in the front. I headed to Canadian Tire to pick up brake stuff and Devin started on taking it apart--again. He is just finishing up, and the tire is not dragging! Yay!

Hopefully off tomorrow again. Our first plan was to head down to Lansing, Michigan, 500km from here. So wish us luck, and maybe we can get Murphy off our backs.
