Test Camping trip

On Easter weekend we went camping to test our gear. We rode north from Toronto in an attempt to arrive at Tobermory.
Pulling over in Shelburne the bike tipped over and my right peg holder broke off!!

Met John, who happen to pull over to tune up his BMW R100 CS 1981 (or at least thats what it looked like). He offered to have Lauren on the back of his bike and I would ride resting my right foot on the passenger peg to the local motel.

Stayed there over night and headed over to the hardware store the next morning to buy a clap to attach for make shift peg. Began to drive back to the motel anf It fell of 3 times!! Finally got back and Lauren had breakfast from subway.

After eating and standing by the bike, the maintenance man walks by and strikes up a conversation, I start telling whats happened, and he suggests a bent pipe with a bolt through it.
30 minutes later its on the bike and we are ready to go. Thank you Mr MacGyver!

Turn the bike on and let it warm up, antifreeze starts shooting out the back! arrg!
Call the mechanic, they say its fine but should double check and inspect all the hoses. On this bike that means taking off all that fairing. And by the time thats done it will be late. We stay another night and look for leaks, I can't find any.

Next day woke up early and headed out to Bronte Creek. Arrived at the camp site, met some interesting fellow campers. Every seemed to ask, "all that fits on the bike?"

Or in 3D!

Headed home the next day.
